Digital Media Specialist

About the team
The Communications team includes the Vice President of Communications, Managing Editor, Digital Media Specialist, and Graphic Designer. The team produces external and internal marketing communication collateral for the Health District. The content created by the team includes social media posts, website content, an intranet newsletter, print and digital marketing pieces, ads and more.
The position
As Digital Media Specialist, you’ll work cooperatively with program staff and the Communications team to tell the Health District’s story in fresh ways via graphics, video and copy that align with our goals. You’ll mix strategic thinking with hands-on creativity, following trends and analyzing data to show up online in the most impactful ways.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, new media, graphic design or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience level.
Key responsibilities
- Create, manage and publish high-quality digital content, including videos and photos, for a range of platforms, including the Health District website and intranet, as well as social media channels.
- Develop and execute creative digital media campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Develop digital strategies and analyze resulting data to improve performance.
