Open enrollment is here, and if you’re still uninsured, you have several ways to sign up for a plan that works for you and your budget.
Whether you need help finding a plan, lower monthly costs, or navigating your options, we're here to support you. Below are the key dates and details you need to know to get covered for 2026.
Important enrollment dates for 2026 coverage:
- November 1: Start shopping for 2026 Marketplace health insurance plans.
- December 1: Existing plans auto-renew for coverage starting January 1, 2026.
- December 15: Enrollment deadline for your coverage to begin on January 1, 2026.
- January 15: Final day to enroll for coverage starting February 1, 2026.

If you missed Open Enrollment, you might still be able to sign up.
- Qualifying life events: Major life changes let you enroll in Connect for Health Colorado outside the
- Health First Colorado & CHP+: You can apply for Health First Colorado (Medicaid) or Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) at any time during the year—there are no deadlines if you're eligible.
