  Cost: $19 - $190, depending on income. Sliding-fee scale available for qualifying Health District residents.
   
• Ask about our buddy discount! Sign up with a friend and get half your class fee back. (Participants must be Health District residents and complete the class.)
   
• Register by April 20 and receive an Early Bird Discount ($10 or 10% of your class fee, whichever is more).

Healthy Weighs is a personalized program that includes:

• 12 weeks of educational classes, including group support
• 6 individual sessions with a Registered Dietitian or a physical activity counselor
• Healthy new foods to try
• 3 free cholesterol/blood glucose tests (before the class, at the end, and six months after that)

We develop livable programs based on your personality and realistic goals that promote a balanced approach to overall health, not just weight loss.

We understand that you may need additional special treatment for various health concerns such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, disordered eating, back and other orthopedic problems.
 

The Healthy Weighs class is led by a Registered Dietitian with experience in weight management. The program is also supported by other members of the Health Promotion staff, which includes a physical activity counselor and nurse.
