How you can help
The Health District raises funds to broaden the reach of our health services to a greater number of community members. The Health District is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and contributions are tax-deductible.
Tooth Fairy Fund
The Tooth Fairy Fund is an effort to provide financial assistance to local residents who are unable to pay even the low sliding-scale fees at the Health District’s Family Dental Clinic.
Any donation of $100 or more from an individual or corporation is eligible to receive a 25 percent state tax credit, based on the value of the donation, on their Colorado state income tax return. The Health District is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations to our organization are tax-deductible to the extent allowed on donors’ federal income tax return. For individual tax savings, donors should consult their tax professionals.
See our Current Donors page for a list of featured new donors to Health District programs and projects. For a list of all donors to Health District during the previous year, see page 4 of the current Health District Annual Report.
