Join Dr. Marybeth Rigali-Oiler, CAYAC Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychologist, for this free 3-part series. In this series, Dr. Marybeth will share information and tangible strategies to understand and support youth with ADHD for parents, guardians, family members, and other loved ones. Attendees are strongly encouraged to attend the first session (ADHD and the Brain), as it provides foundational knowledge that will help in understanding the following sessions. The last 15 minutes of each session will be a Q&A.

Suicide prevention trainingWoman leading class

Connections offers free suicide-prevention training. This training, otherwise referred to as QPR Training, teaches participants to question people about suicide, persuade them to accept professional help, and refer them to community resources.

Topics covered include:

  • Get help for yourself and others
  • Learn more about preventing suicide
  • Identify common causes of suicidal behavior
  • Identify warning signs of suicide
  • Take action to support someone in crisis
