Thinking of quitting
smoking? Our
Tobacco Treatment Specialists help adults reclaim their natural freedom from tobacco
using free nicotine patches, gum or lozenges, as appropriate. They
also show you proven techniques to help you step free
from cigarettes or chew tobacco.
Our program is known for its
straightforward and supportive approach – never any fear,
guilt or shame. Take part in a group (class), or
enjoy individual or couples sessions at your own pace.

Our
approach
We
combine humor and a no-pressure approach with proven quitting techniques. Our six-session program will:
- Help you develop a
quitting plan based on proven techniques but tailored to your own needs.
- Provide you with with
free nicotine patches, gum or lozenges for up to 12 weeks.
- Coach you through
potential problems you may encounter in your first days, weeks and months
of quitting.

Fees
For
residents of the Health District (northern
Larimer County), fees for the six-session program range from $10 - $100,
depending on income. People who live
outside the Health District may still be eligible for the program, but must
pay the full price of $100. Call
224-5209 for a free, initial session with no obligation.
Staff
Our
quit tobacco
program is staffed by specially trained health educators
with support from Health District registered nurses.
