Health District radio show grabs top honors

Radio station KRFC-FM has won a 2014 Award of Excellence from the Colorado Broadcasters Association for its Community at Work show, which is hosted on a rotating basis by the Health District, Larimer County and the City of Fort Collins. The show earned top honors for Best News/Talk Show Host or Team in the major market category. The show, which airs Thursdays, 6-6:30 p.m., on KRFC 88.9, explores issues facing the community and highlights programs and services provided by the three public agencies that host Community at Work. The Health District has been a host of the show since its debut in 2004.
