Care that fits your needs

Many people don't get help for mental health or substance abuse problems because they don't know where to turn or they can't afford treatment.
That's where Connections steps in.

Our helpful staff will take the time to find out what care you need, and we'll involve you in  decisions about your care. We can help identify options and choose the one most appropriate for you. We work with providers, insurance companies and others to help you get the best, most affordable care available.

Our staff is also available to answer any questions you have about mental health and substance abuse.

What we offer

  • Information on counseling and treatment options
  • Help connecting with the services that meet your need
  • Referrals to local counselors, treatment programs, classes, support groups and other services
  • Help finding affordable counseling and medications
  • Information on mental health and substance abuse
  • Help during times of crisis
  • Assistance with coordinating your care

Can't afford help?

Many people don't have mental health coverage or are unable to pay for treatment. If you have a low income and don't have insurance, we may be able to connect you to a counselor who will see you for a reduced fee, or we can help you identify options. With a sliding-fee scale, the cost per counseling session can be as low as $8.

Who we are

Connections is a partnership between the Health District of Northern Larimer County and the Larimer Center for Mental Health, two organizations working to improve mental health and substance abuse care in our community.
