Communications Specialist |

Serves as writer and
editor for the Health District’s quarterly newsletter,
Compass, and is responsible for all aspects of production and
distribution. The Communications Specialist may also work with other
programs and projects at the Health District to write and/or edit a
wide range of printed and online media, from brochures and ads to
press releases and reports. |

Dental Assistant |

Works as a
positive, productive team member to provide dental services in a
busy public dental clinic. The clinic provides care to the Medicaid
and low-income populations of northern Larimer County who are unable
to afford the full cost of care. Assists in the general activities
of the dental office as needed, including chair-side assisting,
sterilization procedures, lab procedures as needed, front desk cross
training, hygiene assisting as patient load and clinic workload
permits, etc. |

The Policy
Coordinator, under the direction of the Director of Community Impact
and the Executive Director, coordinates the public policy work of
the organization. This work may include, but not be limited to:
monitoring legislation;
researching and formulating objective background papers and
policy analyses on issues of concern to the Health District;
developing relationships and communication links with organizations
interested in our identified issues; creating recommendations for
policy positions; communicating Board positions (once taken) to key
policy and decision-makers when directed; and evaluating the impact
of our policy work. |
