Fluoride Technical Study Group Report
The Health District was a participant in the Fluoride Technical Study Group, which included community members with an interest in community drinking water fluoridation and with specific technical, medical or scientific capabilities. The group met at least once a month between December 2001 and December 2002.
The group presented a report to the Fort Collins City Council which voted to continue fluoridation of city water supplies in July 2003. The findings of the report prompted the Health District's Board of Directors to vote to recommend that the city continue fluoridation.
