I continue to seek the best and most efficient use of taxpayer dollars in order to accomplish the mission of the Health District.

What special skills or qualifications will you bring to the board? 

Four years of experience as a member of the current Health District board. Thirty-seven years as a full-time family doctor in Fort Collins. Substantial service in leadership roles with PVHS medical staff as well as multiple professional medical organizations (county, state and national).

What do you hope to accomplish?

Integrate my practical medical experience with my knowledge of our community in order to help the board make the difficult “judgment calls” regarding optimal choices of which services the Health District will provide.

What is the most pressing health-related issue facing our community?

The lack of financial resources (and the lack of efficient use of the resources we do have) as we all seek to have a healthy and prosperous community.
