We offer adult and children's dental services at 202 Bristlecone Drive (next door to the Health District's main office, 120 Bristlecone Drive, in north Fort Collins).
How to make an appointment at the Family Dental Clinic
If you have a dental emergency, please call the Family Dental Clinic at (970) 416-5331 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday–Friday. A limited number of emergency appointments are available each day.
If you do not have a dental emergency and want to make an appointment for routine care such as a checkup and cleaning, there are different ways to make an appointment, depending on your situation:
• Eligible pregnant women and eligible children under 18: call (970) 416-5331 to make an appointment.
• Returning adult patients who have had a routine examination at the Family Dental Clinic within the past year and a half: call (970) 416-5331 to make an appointment.
• New adult patients wanting a routine exam and returning adult patients who have not had an exam at the Family Dental Clinic for more than a year and half: you must use the new dental lottery system to make an appointment. If you do not have a computer, please call (970) 493-5522 to be entered into the lottery.
Who is eligible for services at the Family Dental Clinic?
The Family Dental Clinic serves residents of northern Larimer County who:
- Meet financial guidelines, and
- Have no insurance or are covered by Medicaid or CHP+ insurance.
If your income is low and your assets are limited, you still may qualify for dental care on a sliding fee scale, even if you are not eligible for other programs such as Medicaid or food stamps. Client assistance funds are very limited, and we do not have enough to help everyone in need.
The Family Dental Clinic provides dental care that meets the patient’s needs, including
- Full dentures
- Partial dentures
- Root canals
- Silver fillings
- Tooth-colored fillings
- We do not provide orthodontic care
It’s important that patients are happy with their mouth and smile. That means relieving tooth pain, repairing broken teeth and providing good preventive care. A dentist determines the most appropriate care for each patient.
