The Internet allows access to health resources across the country and across the world, making it easy to forget we have some excellent resources right here in Colorado.

One interesting and comprehensive site is Colorado HealthSite (formerly Colorado Health Net).

CHN was established in 1995 with a mission to provide electronic access to factual and statistical information, support services, medical resources and related healthcare information for persons with chronic medical conditions and for other users.

Colorado HealthSite understands that individuals who live with the daily challenges of chronic disease are most successful when they are well educated about their condition, understand treatment options and feel adequately supported and able to participate in the management of their health.

The site contains information on many chronic conditions, including:
